Everything about this bar and bistro is just perfect!! 😍 Best place to grab lunch and dinner, the guy who served us really did an excellent job, customer service is 5/5. The foods were just delicious, I would recommend this place for everyone to try out. It’s my 2nd time here & I’ll continue to go there always 😍

It was a great evening out with friends. The service was good and we really enjoyed the selection of foods. The food was well prepared and very tasty. Only issue was that the pork was really fatty and one of the group couldn't eat it.

The best one for me is Sharking beef, because it juicy taste. Obama Bun Cha is amazing too, the topics on it are crispy and the noodle is refreshing, relieve greasiness.Sashimi is South Asian style, a little bit different from Japanese style, but I like it.

The team that work there are friendly and the atmosphere is good. (Nothing overly extravagant) we ordered a green curry which was fresh and nice, lots of coriander, and a Pad thai and sticky chicken and some vegesplus rice. The best was the green curry and then the veges as a side dish. The sticky chicken batter was too thick and not sticky enough (no that I am a chef) .. In the end the small amount of chicken was lost in the volume of batter... and the pad thai I would say was an original recipe, it was not what I expecting, and would not say it was actually pad thai... maybe too much liquid (soy maybe) in the dish and the flavours could have been stronger, the coriander is good but does not make a meal. Overall it's an ok restaurant and I would go there again, keen to see how the menu develops with the friendly staff. Thanks.

Had the best time when visiting Aukland ... great drinks, delicious food I highly recommend the Sticky Chicken!! Loved the atmosphere and the service was A1. Coming from Australia I was very impressed with all that I experienced at this wonderful place the Corner38. Will make it my go to destination for food and drinks whenever I'm back In New Zealand. My husband and I decided to try Corner38. What a wonderful surprise this restaurant has a great atmosphere, superb service and absolutely delishes food. The Beef Cheeck Red Curry has the most amazing flavour and the beef was so tender, the chicken Pad Thai was absolutely delicious one of the best we have eaten. We will definitely be coming back. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free, Dairyfree and Citrus free. Parking: Heaps of parking at Botany Town Centre carpark.

Staff were all super friendly and service was amazing! Food was 10/10 but I think the desserts could just use a bit more love ◡̈ Kid-friendliness: Our server went above and beyond for the little one we had at the table with us! He took his order and offered him some ice cream when we ordered dessert ◡̈

I called ahead to book a table for 14 people and spoke with Ash, the manager, who took all of our orders in advance to ensure a smooth and timely dinner. On the night of the event, Ash wasn’t there, but he had delegated the responsibility to Steven. As soon as we entered, we were warmly greeted by Steven, who was friendly and welcoming, setting the tone for an exceptional evening. Ash, Steven and the rest of the team that night provided exceptional customer service throughout the entire process. It’s rare these days to find such attentive and accommodating staff, and these two gentlemen went above and beyond to make our evening special. The food was delicious, with a great selection for vegetarians, and the presentation was top-notch. Everything came out right on time, just as we had planned. The staff even allowed us to bring in a birthday cake and helped us set it up for the birthday girl, which added a wonderful personal touch. The atmosphere was cozy, and the restaurant was spotless, which made for a very comfortable setting. All the staff members were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall pleasant experience. 40th birthday lunch on ANZAC day for 35 people. We were a family with kids & babies. They were very accommodating & had high chairs. The service provided was good. Orders were taken when we were ready. Food was hot and tasty. It came out with a good flow for us. Mood of the restaurant was relaxing & chill. We would come here again. I had the happy hour wine & oyster. Great price. And salmon sashimi , I like the way they mix with herbs, unusual way for sashimi. Then I had pho , soup basic was good. Wish they can use thin slice raw beef. Great service !!

Highly Recommended! What an awesome atmosphere Friday night the DJ playing great music the decor and layout was beautiful but the food it was perfect! We loved every meal we ordered especially the beef cheek curry that was amazing! thank you to the duty manager or owner (unsure) the Indian man thank you for re arranging tables to fit our group even though we didn’t make reservations you welcomed us in the door and said you can fit us in. We really appreciated your hospitality. Our new favourite spot.

We have enjoyed both times eating out at Corner38. Food, drinks and service all great. Happy Hour during the weekday was a nice addition with the bonus of $3 oysters. Food tasty and light. Nice to have a new Asian Fusion within the East Auckland area.

My wife and I sat outside and enjoyed a long leisurely lunch over a few drinks. The food offerings are designed to be shared and are delicious. Hope this place does well as it adds to the dining and drinking option at our lical mall.

Out for special dinner, menu is Asian fusion which a fresh difference to the normal pub food in the immediate area. Staff were friendly and we had a table reserved outside. We prefer to share food so this set up is perfect. The sticky fried chicken (excellent portion size) was our favourite, followed by fried lamb shank dumplings, then Sticky pork ribs which was also a good portion. Overall we had a great dinner with location, atmosphere and service all good and friendly with reasonable prices. We would return again.

We just left Goode Brothers as the service, food and drinks were horrid. Corner 38...what a change...the people were lovely and the drinks spot on 😁 Never again to Goode Brothers when you have such an awesome place next door. Thank you Corner 38

A group of 6 tonight went here for a few bites and drinks. Little did we know we'll end up spending out entire evening here thanks to the great service we got. Also great food. Can't fault anything. The cocktails coming out were on point. Let's just say we tried a few. Anya was superb. She's definitely an asset to your team!!

We had such a nice dinner during the happy hour. We had duck, scallops, summer rolls and the fattest, creamiest fresh oysters I’ve had in ages. The tap beer was delish and the strawberry daq was so strong and sweet! Our waitress was also so nice, such good service. Thank you!

Just wanted to give a shout out to the new bar/restaurant at Botany Mall. Corner 38 Bar and Bistro is right next door to Goode Brothers in the centre of the mall's outdoor area These guys do AMAZING food and have a proper cocktail bar too, so you can actually get a decent dirty martini if that’s your thing lol. They're friendly and knowledgable and really take the time to engage with their customers. Inside is dark and brooding with a great atmosphere, and outside there's an under cover area with comfortable seating to watch the world go by. We've now visited a couple of times and have had wonderful service from the staff. The food, which is asian fusion is simply superb. They also do late nights at the weekend and have a happy hour every day? Happy? We were delighted. My new favourite eatery in East Auckland.

Loved the vibe me and my friend sat outside under the heater and it was lovely. We order food to share and two jugs and it was the perfect place to catch up. Staff were lovely and the food was really good. We will definitely be back.

Can’t beat this new place. This is our new local we were looking for an intimate yet joyful experience in Botany and we found it, with top notch service and atmosphere. The food was second to none. Recommend the popping prawns and fried chicken. Staff were attentive to us throughout the night. Good job!

Food was fabulous, had good Vegetarian options for my friend, prices were very reasonable, drink order was taken quickly. Only negative was the forgot to come and take food order had to track staff down to get order taken. Clean and tidy. Would go again.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon during Easter Break. Place moderately busy. Waiters quick to seat you, onto it, attentive, polite, and good fun. Menu has a reasonable range and is competitively priced. Servings are large. We left feeling we got good value and service. We were two adults ordering only mains and drinks, and we spent $58.00. Not bad we felt.

Discovered this place whilst walking past and decided to give it a try.We were not disappointed .Nice cofees and the dishes full of flavours .Fried vegetarian spring rolls were tasty, one of the best spring rolls we have tried.The bun dishes are actually noodles with chicken and veges , the vaitamese dressing was amazing.Also tried the lemongrass chicken and it didnt disappoint.Overall lovelly flavours.Service was friendly and attentive. We went for lunch, ordered their a few Bahn mi specials with a drink of your choice for $15. What a deal, it was very authentic. We also got the vermicelli special and it was filling and tasty. Thanks guys, will be there again.

Very very good service waiter was extremely nice and cared a lot about my table made sure everything was perfect. The spring rolls are on another level good just amazing. And the restaurant was very beautiful design and absolutely clean

Delicious soup options A little limiting if you have a seafood allergy as a lot of things are pork and prawn or Seafood Meat BBQ looked good - a little pricy @$75 p p which would be expensive for a family outing
